When the library does not have a book or an article that you need, you may request it via interlibrary loan (ILL).

Find the ILL request form when you're searching Primo, conveniently linked at the top of the search results page:

Or, on the library's website:

  1. Along the top of the library's website, select RESOURCES.
     
  2. In the expanded menu, look under LIBRARY for the Interlibrary Loan link and click it. See a screen capture below.
     
  3. If you're ready to submit a request, click the Article or Book Request button located in middle of the page. You may be prompted to login to access this form. TIP: The pre-selected default on the form is a book request. If you need an article, be sure to change it!

  • ILL service is only available to currently enrolled APUS students, faculty and staff.  
  • ILL cannot be used for required readings. For help with textbooks and required readings, contact ECM@apus.edu or 877-755-2787 ext. 3800.
  • Physical books required for your courses cannot be sourced through the library. For further information on your required materials, please reach out to ECM@apus.edu.
  • Physical loans cannot be shipped outside of the continental US.
