Your connection is not private error screen           

If you see this error, please select your browser from the list below for the steps to resolve it:

 

If the issue persists after these steps, please try also clearing your browser cache (Chrome, Edge) and/or switching to another browser.

In Chrome:

  1. Open a new tab
  2. Enter this in the address bar: chrome://net-internals/#hsts
  3. In the second box (Query HSTS/PKP domain), enter: apus.edu
  4. Press the Query button next to the box
  5. If any results are returned, continue with the following steps
  6. In the bottom box (Delete domain security policies), enter: apus.edu
  7. Press the Delete button next to the box
  8. Restart your browser
  9. Open a new tab and try to access one of the problematic resources again

 

In Edge:

  1. Open a new tab
  2. Enter this in the address bar: edge://net-internals/#hsts
  3. In the second box (Query HSTS/PKP domain), enter: apus.edu
  4. Press the Query button next to the box
  5. If any results are returned, continue with the following steps
  6. In the bottom box (Delete domain security policies), enter: apus.edu
  7. Press the Delete button next to the box
  8. Restart your browser
  9. Open a new tab and try to access one of the problematic resources again

 

In Firefox:

  1. Click the menu icon (three horizontal lines in the upper right corner)
  2. Select History
  3. Select Clear Recent History
  4. A pop-up will appear
  5. Set Time range to clear to Everything
  6. Under History, select Cookies and Cache
    1. De-select Browsing & download history, Active logins, and Form & search history
  7. Under Data, select Site settings
    1. De-select Offline website data
  8. Press the OK button
  9. Restart your browser
  10. Open a new tab and try to access one of the problematic resources again

 

In Safari (iOS):

  1. If the Develop drop-down is not listed in the Safari menu
    1. Select Safari from the menu
    2. Select Preferences
    3. Select the Advanced tab
    4. Select Show Develop menu in menu bar at the bottom
    5. Close the Preferences window
  2. Select Develop from the menu
  3. Select Empty Caches
  4. Close Safari
  5. Navigate to ~/Library/Cookies/ 
  6. Delete the HSTS.plist file
  7. Restart your browser
  8. Open a new tab and try to access one of the problematic resources again
