Primo  filters can help you pinpoint the kinds of resources you need more quickly.  You'll find them on the left side of your search results. 

To make filters stay in place while you're searching:

1.  Be sure that you are signed in to Primo.

2. Click on the filters that you need.

3. Your filters should now appear under "Active Filters" at the top of the filter list. Hover on the filters you'd like to make persistent.

4. Click the lock icon.

Once a filter is "locked", it will be applied to all of your searches until you remove the filter or log out of your session.
