Our library's Credo Reference collection is a perfect place to find dictionaries.  Find Credo linked on the library's Articles & Databases page.

1.  On the Credo homepage, type dictionary in the search box and click the search button.

  •  For a specific language dictionary, add the language name to the search box.  For example:  English dictionary.  Then, click the search button.

2.  Scan the results and click a dictionary title to start exploring definitions. ‚ÄčIf you need a subject-specific dictionary, use the "All Subjects" to choose from a list:

You can also find dictionaries when you search the library for books.  Search for keywords like these depending upon what kind of dictionary you need:

  • business dictionaries
  • health dictionaries
  • biographical dictionaries
