Legal dictionaries provide definitions of legal terminology and words in their legal sense or use. They typically provide a short definition with reference to cases and other legal sources for authority, and frequently give examples of word usage in various legal situations.

To find a legal dictionary in Nexis Uni:

1. Enter the library through the link in your classroom.

2. Select Nexis Uni from the A-Z Databases link under the main search box on the library's homepage.

3. Click Sources along the top of the Nexis Uni screen.

4. Find the "Search Within Sources" box and type the word dictionary in it.  Click the search icon.
