Q. How can I "show my work" when I'm writing a paper?

It's increasingly difficult for AI detectors to accurately identify text written by a human. To be on the safe side, we recommend that you use version history or change tracking features in your word processing app as you write. These tools will allow you to demonstrate your work.

In Microsoft Word or other Microsoft 365 apps (which you can access through your student account), you can:

• View previous versions your files

• Track changes and show markup
