When you connect with a librarian using Zoom, start by clicking or tapping the meeting link that was provided. You will be prompted to either launch Zoom using your desktop or mobile app, or to launch it from your browser.
1. If this is your first time using Zoom, a download will begin.
- If the download doesn't begin immediately, visit https://zoom.us/support/download to get the download started.
- On iOS devices, visit the App Store and search for the Zoom app.
- On Android devices, visit Google Play and search for the Zoom app.
2. Once you launch the app, you will be prompted to enter your name.
3. Click Join to be taken into the meeting. There may be a short wait while the librarian prepares the meeting room.
Note: Video is optional! You do not need to turn on your webcam in order to use Zoom.

If for some reason you are unable to download or install the Zoom meeting launcher, you can also join the screensharing session via your web browser. Google Chrome is strongly recommended for this.
To join the meeting, simply click the Join from your browser link and enter a name when prompted.

Once you've signed in to the screensharing session, you'll be prompted to join the meeting audio (recommended). You can mute and unmute your audio at any point during the session. Click here to learn more about Zoom audio.
- Joining the meeting audio is the simplest way to listen and speak. You and the other user will be able to talk with each other over a high-quality VoIP connection, using your computer's or device's speaker and microphone.
- If you experience problems with your computer's audio, it is also possible to join via telephone. You can use any of the numbers below, or click here to find a local number.

When prompted, enter this meeting ID: 329 089 5860. Participant ID is not required…just press # when prompted for it.
