The ScienceDirect site searches all of Elsevier Publishing's journals, but our library subscribes to only the Health & Life Sciences Collection.

To limit your ScienceDirect search to our library's subscriptions, follow these steps (scroll down for screen captures):

1. Be sure that you are accessing ScienceDirect via the link on the library's Articles & Databases page.

2.  Click "Advanced search" beneath the search box.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Open expert search".

4. Look beneath "Refine your search" and check the "Subscribed journals" and "Open access articles"  boxes.

5.  Type your keywords in the search box and click "search."

If you've already found an article that you'd like to read, but it doesn't have a full text link, see this FAQ:  How can I find the full text of a specific journal article?
