Send all renewal requests to APUS-ILL@apus.edu before the book is due.

  • For APUS loans: You are allowed a maximum of 3 renewals of three weeks each. As long as the book is not on hold for another user, your renewal request will be honored.
  • For interlibrary loans: Whether the request will be granted will depend on the lending library. Libraries usually only lend their materials for a maximum 45-60 days and allow a 10-14 day renewal period, though some libraries have a “No Renewal” policy. Upon submitting your renewal request, a staff member will be in contact to discuss your options with that specific library.

Learn more about our ILL service on the library's interlibrary loan page and for details on our ILL Lending Policy and Guidelines.
