Financial ratios are a common means of determining a company's performance and strength by comparing that company's ratios with those of the industry overall.

How to locate a financial ratio using Nexis Uni:

1. Enter the library through the link in your classroom.

2. Select Nexis Uni from the A-Z Databases link under the main search box on the library's homepage.

3. On the Nexis Uni homepage, look beneath Dossier and click Find Company

4. Enter the name of a company in the "Company name" search box.  Add additional details if you have them - keep in mind that many companies may share the same name.

5.  On the results screen, select the company name to view its profile.

6. On the company profile page, select Financial Overview from the left side menu and then look for a Ratio Analysis link (if available):

Or, for industry ratio information, select Industry Knowledge on the left side of the screen.  Then, click Industry Overview and look for the Ratio Components link.
