Summon searches almost everything our library has to offer - it can bring you results from dozens of subscription databases - all from a single search box!  That makes it a convenient, and fairly comprehensive, place to start your research.

As good as it is, Summon still doesn’t include all of the library’s resources.  The following databases are NOT included in Summon:

  • ABC-CLIO American Indian Experience, Religion and World at War
  • Alexander Street Press VAST and American History in Video (both are only partially covered in Summon)
  • APUS Books & eBooks Catalog (print books only; Summon does include ebooks)
  • Books24x7 -- Only partially covered in Summon,  search directly.
  • DSM
  • Faulkner's Advisory on Computer & Communications Technologies
  • FBIS
  • Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HaPI)
  • Health Policy Reference Center
  • Medline Complete
  • NK New
  • NK Pro
  • Nursing Reference Center
  • PsycBooks
  • Sports Business Reference Network
  • TRAC
  • US Declassified Documents Online

To find and search any of these databases, follow the instructions at this FAQ:  Where can I find a specific library database?
