We have had a few reports of blank pages or spinning circles when some students try to search Summon.  These reports have been scattered, making it difficult to troubleshoot.  We want to get to the root of the problem!

NOTE: There is a known issue with the Edge browser in Summon.  If you are using Edge and experience blank/stuck pages in Summon, please use an alternate brower, such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.

If you are not an Edge browser user, please try:

1. The basic troubleshooting steps on the library's Technical Help guide.  In particular, try the Browser Settings steps.

2. Go directly to the Summon basic search at!/ and click the "Off Campus? Log in to access full text and more content" link in the upper left corner. Use your APUS id and password, just as you do to log into your classroom.  Then, try a search.

If none of those steps help, please use our technical troubleshooting form to report your problem.  Be sure to note that you have tried the steps above, so we can rule them out.

In the meantime, remember that you can still search the library's individual databases for articles and books.  Find them all linked on the Articles & Databases page, or visit your degree program's research guide for suggested search options.
