Many browsers offer a read aloud function or the ability to add read aloud extensions.  You'll find information on the most popular browsers below:

Google Chrome: Hear text read aloud and Use the built-in screen reader

Microsoft Edge: Use Immersive Reader in Microsoft Edge

Firefox: Firefox does not have their own read aloud function but many are offered in their Browser Ad-Ons section.  The most recommended add-on is Read Aloud: A Text to Speech Voice Reader

Safari/Mac OS:  Have your Mac speak text that’s on the screen

Opera: Opera does not have their own read aloud function but many are offered in their Browser addons section.  The most recommended add-on is Text to Speech (TTS)
