Mendeley is available for Widows, Mac and Linux. Download it here.

To import content from academic databases (and other web sources)

  1. You must also install the Mendeley Web Importer.
  2. To save a resource, just click the “Save to Mendeley” button on your web browser’s toolbar.
  3. Mendeley attempts to include PDFs and associated files. See their website for more details.

IMPORTANT:  Always double-check auto-generated citations against the examples in the appropriate style guide While database auto-cite features are a good time-saving tool, errors are common (capitalization, punctuation, date, etc.).  You'll need to fix those error by hand!
